Suggested Packing List:
● Pants or shorts for three days (school appropriate and comfortable)
● Pajamas
● Comfortable walking shoes
● Socks and undergarments
● Sunblock
● A watch
● Personal hygiene items must be packed in a clear ziplock bag. (Keep in mind perfume and cologne will attract bees while we are at outdoor sites.) shampoo and conditioner soap deodorant ☺ (It gets HOT in May!) toothpaste and toothbrush
● Hair styling tools (Ladies please coordinate so each room has no more than two hairdryers, flat irons, curling irons, etc.)
● Contact solution (must be in a plastic, resealable container) and extra set of contacts
● Glasses
● Sunglasses
● Be sure to leave room for the provided t-shirts, which will be given to you the night before we leave
● Rain Poncho/umbrella
● Camera OR cell phone with charger (to be turned in each night to chaperones)
o All phones or cameras and chargers must be present and labeled with first and last name (using masking tape, etc.) and stored in a clear sandwich or freezer bag.
o Suggestion: Create a “note” in your phone with your name and other information you want to include. Take a “screen shot” of the note and make it the lock screen. This avoids the use of tape on your phone.
● Books, magazines, games, and snacks for on the bus.
● No bags will be permitted to carry during the day. Ladies may have a SMALL purse if absolutely necessary (books should not be able to fit inside).
Other Packing Information: Students are allowed one undercarriage bag (which they will be responsible for carrying) and one small carry on item, which must fit under their seat and are also responsible for carrying. The undercarriage should be the size of a carryon bag for an airplane (able to fit in the overhead bin of an airplane). The carry on item should be a drawstring bag or small backpack.
ALL liquids (drinks, hygiene products, lotion, etc.) must be in plastic, resealable containers. (Coordinate with roommates or bring travel sized items)
All medications and the appropriate doctors’ orders are due on May 1. Please be advised NO medication will be accepted the night of luggage drop off. All luggage will be searched prior to any student boarding the bus. If anything is found in your child’s luggage which is illegal, or against school rules or trip policy, your student will immediately be disqualified from the trip without a refund. ***STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WHEN LUGGAGE IS DROPPED OFF AND THE MORNING OF THE TRIP.***
